Membership

Am I able to cancel my membership before my first box has shipped?

Juliboxes typically ship by the 15th of each month. If you wish to cancel (how sad, are you sure?) please do so by the 1st of the month to avoid being charged again. If you cancel during the first week of a month, you will likely get charged and receive your Julibox.

Are there any hidden fees?

Do we look like we have something to hide?  There are no hidden fees associated with Julibox.  Your monthly subscription fee is all you will pay to enjoy four great cocktails in the comfort of your home.

I just signed up for a Julibox subscription! What will I receive?

Every month, you will receive a box that will include two hand-selected cocktail recipes and all of the ingredients necessary to make them.  That includes sample sized spirits and mixers as required by each cocktail. And you’ll get enough to make four total cocktails. You may have to purchase a few pedestrian fresh ingredients, typically lemons or limes. That way your cocktails will taste as fresh as possible.  Aren’t you excited?

If I have a 3 or 6 month subscription, what happens at the end of my term?

First of all, can we just say "we love you and the world needs more people like you".  At the end of a 3 or 6 month subscription plan, your membership will continue on a month to month basis at your discounted price unless you decide to cancel.  If you cancel before after the 25th of the month, your card will never be charged. If you cancel after the 25th, we will refund your card.

If I have a gift subscription, what happens when I reach my last month?

If you have received Julibox as a gift, you should know you have one classy friend.  Gift subscriptions will terminate at the end of the subscription period.  After your last Julibox is received, you can sign up as a subscriber to any one of our plans.

Once I sign up, can I change my subscription type?

But of course!  If you sign up month-to-month and after your first shipment you think to yourself  "whatever will I do without the next collection", never fret.  Simply log on to your account on julibox.com, where you can manage all sorts of things like your subscription type and shipping information.

What about cancellations, refunds or exchanges?

If you signed up for a month to month plan, you can cancel your subscription at any time without any fees.  Simply log on to your account on julibox.com and click on My Julibox and cancel away (although we may guilt you a bit for that...). You'll receive an email confirming your cancellation. 

If you signed up for a 3 month or 6 month subscription plan, you can cancel at any time, however you will be charged a $15 cancellation fee if you cancel before your subscription is over. 

Unfortunately, we do not provide refunds or exchanges on boxes that have already shipped. If you no longer wish to receive Julibox, be sure to cancel at the begining of the month, before boxes ship and you will not be charged.

When can I expect my first shipment?

Julibox ships around the 15th of every month. Depending on where you are in the country, you should expect your cocktails  3-5 days later.

When will I be billed for the monthly recurring membership?

Your card will be immediately charged upon check out when you first sign up for Julibox. After your first delivery, your credit card will be charged around the 25th of each month unless you decide to cancel.

Store

Can I buy full sizes of products in each Julibox Collection?

Not yet, but we are working hard to be able to provide full size bottles for purchase through our store.  If you are looking for something contact us at admin@julibox.com and we can certainly help you find it in the meantime.

 

Can I buy individual Julibox Collections?

Why, yes, darling!    Occasionally we have additional Juliboxes each month. You can purchase them while supplies last.  But once they are gone, they are gone. So act quickly.

When will individual Collections ship?

Individual Julibox purchases will ship 1-2 weeks after order.

Shipping

Do you offer expedited shipping?

It’s hard to wait for a really good thing, but unfortunately, monthly Julibox subscriptions do not offer expedited shipping.  You can expedite shipping on products purchased through the Julibox store for additional fees.

Do you offer free shipping?

Why of course! We wouldn’t want to hinder your Julibox experience with complicated shipping fees.  Every Julibox subscription ships free of charge. 

What if I miss my Julibox delivery?

As you know, an adult must sign for your Julibox. It is federal regulation for the shipping of alcohol. UPS will attempt three deliveries to you. After that point they will hold the package at their facility for five business days, while you make arrangements to pick it up at their facility.  If your Julibox is returned to us and you no longer want it, we can process a full refund less a $20 service fee.  If you wish to have your Julibox re-shipped, you will incur a $12 service fee on the card we have on file.

What if I need to change my address after my Julibox has shipped?

If you find you need to change your address after your Julibox has shipped, we can re-direct it for you for a small fee of $6. Simply contact us at admin@julibox.com and we can make arrangements for it to be delivered to a more convenient address.  To avoid this and any delays on receiving your Julibox, we encourage you to change your address online in your account profile by the 20th of any month to make sure your changes are reflected.

What if I need to change my address?

If you need to change your shipping address after signing up for Julibox, simply log on to your account at julibox.com and change your shipping address or any other account issues there. Please note that if you do need to change your address, be sure to do so by the 20th of the month to make sure your Julibox service is uninterrupted.

When will my Julibox ship?

All things in moderation! Because of the hand-selected nature of each Julibox, subscriptions ship only once a month, typically around the 15th of each month.  Orders placed after  the 5th of the month will ship the following month (Ex. an order placed Feb 6th will ship around March 15th).

Where does Julibox Ship? What shipping service do you use?

Sorry, Julibox does not ship internationally at this time.  There are a handful of states we cannot ship to at this time. If your state does not appear on the drop down menu during check out, we do not currently service your market (but we are working on a solution).

Julibox ships via FedEx or UPS. Every month you’ll receive an email letting you know your Julibox is on its way.  Julibox requires an adult signature upon receipt, so be sure to ship where someone can sign for it. Sorry, we cannot ship to PO Boxes or AFPO Boxes.

Will I be able to track my shipment?

We will send you an email letting you know your Julibox has shipped every month, along with any additional fresh ingredients you may need.  We will also send along tracking information so you can track your package.

Collections

Can I choose which kinds of spirits I want to receive?

Our Julibox curators believe every spirit has its merits and deserves its moment in the sun.  Our team works very hard to hand select spirits and cocktail recipes that we truly believe everyone will enjoy (even if you have a bias against some poor spirit that meant no harm when you were in college). Monthly Juliboxes are true, curated experiences, free from bias. So for now, you will have to trust us.

What if I receive a broken or missing ingredient?

Shame on us!  We want you to enjoy your Julibox in its utter perfection and a missing or broken products simply will not do. Contact us right away at admin@julibox.com and we will ship out a fresh new box free of charge.

Will you tell me what's in each collection ahead of time?

A little mystery is the spice of life.  Every Julibox collection is unique and hand selected by our team of maverick curators (and they like to work under the cover of secrecy).  We will reveal the theme for each collection ahead of time, but the recipes will only be revealed once you open your box.  Who doesn’t like a bit of a surprise every now and then?  

Gift Subscriptions

Can I cancel a gift subscription?

You can cancel a gift purchase so long as the gift code has not been redeemed for a full refund. If the code has been redeemed then you can no longer cancel a gift subscription.

Can I choose when the first Julibox gift ships?

Julibox gifts will begin shipping once the gift code has been redeemed. Simply click I want to Redeem a Gift Code and enter your appropriate information.  Codes redeemed after the 5th of the month will ship the following month.  Julibox gifts will not begin shipping until the code is redeemed on our site.

Can I give a monthly subscription to Julibox as a gift?

Why, of course you can!  We offer four subscription packages that can be purchased as gifts-  1 month, 3 month, 6 month and a 12 month plan.  Simply click on GIFT on our website and select your plan.  You will be charged a one time payment for the full term of the subscription package you select. You will receive a confirmation email with your gift code included.  Your recipient will also receive an email notifying them of your wonderful purchase. It will include your gift message and their gift code.  In order to start receiving Julibox, they simply need to log on to our site, enter their gift code and shipping details and they are good to go! 

Can I send a message with my gift subscription?

If you are sending a gift, you will be able to include a gift message upon check out.  

Can you do custom gifts or bulk buys?

We can't think of a better gift to give than a hand-selected Julibox.  If you are interested in giving one of our collections as a corporate gift or for a personal event (i.e., wedding, 40th birthday party...), please contact us at admin@julibox.com.  We will work with you to customize a Julibox for your needs. Minimum orders of 10.  Please give us at least 4 weeks to arrange your custom Julibox.

How Do Gift Codes Work?

You can give Julibox as a gift with our gift code process.  Simply click on GIFT and select your package from the drop down menu.  You will be asked to enter your billing information and provide the name and email of your gift recipient.  You may also enter a gift message.  Once your have made your purchase, you will receive a confirmation email that includes the details of your order along with the gift code.  Your recipient will also receive an email with the gift code, your gift message and directions on how to redeem their gift code.  You may elect to not have your recipient receive this email directly as well.  All that's left is for your recipient to redeem their code by entering their gift code and shipping details on our website.  Their Julibox will start shipping with the next collection. Presto!

How Do I Redeem a Gift Code?

Someone thinks you deserve a great cocktail! How lovely.  In order to start receiving your Julibox Collections, simply click on GIFT.  Select I'd like to redeem a gift code. You will be asked to set up an account (so if you ever need to change your shipping details you are in the system). You will then be asked to enter your shipping information and you're all set. Be sure to ship to a location where you or someone can sign for your Collections each month.  Redeem your gift code by the 5th of the month to receive the current Collection.  Redemptions after the 5th of the month will ship the following month.

What happens when a gift subscription ends?

When a gift subscription ends, we will send an email to the recipient to inform them that the subscription is over. At that point, the recipient can log on the julibox.com and sign up for their own membership.  The gift giver will only be charged once, when the gift is purchased.
